Please read our shipping policy carefully before placing your order.

Order processing and production times

As our products are printed on demand, please allow time for your order to be produced before it is dispatched.

Most print orders are usually produced and dispatched within 1–5 working days, although some products may be completed sooner. Popular wall art items may often be dispatched within 24–48 hours, depending on the product, print lab, order volume and production availability.

Working days do not usually include weekends or UK bank holidays.

During busy periods, such as Christmas, sales events, product launches or periods of high demand, production may take slightly longer than usual.

Estimated delivery times

Delivery times vary depending on your location, the product ordered and the shipping method available at checkout.

As a general guide:

  • UK orders usually arrive within 2–3 working days after dispatch
  • International orders may take longer depending on the destination country, customs processing and local courier services
  • Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed

Please remember that delivery time is in addition to production time.

For example, if your item takes 2 working days to produce and 2–3 working days to deliver, the total estimated timeframe may be around 4–5 working days from the date of your order.

Shipping confirmation

Once your order has been dispatched, you should receive a shipping confirmation email.

Where tracking is available, your tracking details will be included in your dispatch email. Please note that tracking may not be available for every shipping method, destination or product type.

Tracking information can sometimes take a little while to update after dispatch, especially if the parcel has only recently been handed over to the courier.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout before you complete your order.

The final shipping cost may depend on:

  • the product type
  • product size
  • delivery destination
  • parcel weight
  • courier availability
  • shipping method selected

If you order multiple items, they may sometimes be shipped together or separately depending on the production location and product type.

Multiple item orders

If your order contains more than one product, your items may arrive in separate parcels.

This is because different products may be produced at different facilities or require different packaging. For example, an art print and a canvas may not always be produced or shipped together.

If part of your order arrives first, please do not worry — the rest of your order may still be on the way.

Print-on-demand fulfilment

The Carpenator Lab does not hold all print stock in-house.

Our print products are made to order and shipped directly. This allows us to offer a wider range of artwork, sizes and finishes while avoiding unnecessary overproduction.

Because each order is produced specifically for you, please make sure all order details are correct before completing your purchase.

Delivery address accuracy

Please make sure your delivery address is correct before placing your order.

We cannot guarantee that address changes can be made once your order has entered production or been dispatched.

If you notice an error in your delivery address, please contact us immediately.

We will do our best to update the address before your order is processed, but this cannot be guaranteed.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the order is dispatched, we may not be able to offer a refund or replacement.

Failed delivery attempts

If a courier attempts delivery and no one is available, they may:

  • leave the parcel in a safe place
  • leave it with a neighbour
  • take it to a local collection point
  • attempt redelivery
  • return it to sender

Please follow the instructions provided by the courier if delivery is missed.

If a parcel is returned due to failed delivery attempts, incorrect address details or failure to collect, additional postage charges may apply to resend the order.

Lost orders

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us at:

Please include your order number so we can investigate.

We may need to check the tracking information, confirm your delivery address and contact our fulfilment partner or courier before we can offer a resolution.

If your parcel is confirmed as lost in transit, we will arrange a suitable solution, which may include a replacement or refund.

Delayed orders

Occasionally, delays can happen due to circumstances outside our control.

These may include:

  • courier delays
  • high seasonal demand
  • severe weather
  • customs checks
  • incorrect or incomplete delivery details
  • public holidays
  • strikes or courier service disruption
  • production delays

We will always do our best to help if your order is delayed, but delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Damaged items during delivery

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include:

  • your order number
  • clear photos of the damaged item
  • photos of the outer packaging
  • photos of any damaged corners, tubes, boxes or protective packaging

This helps us investigate the issue with our production partner and courier.

If your item is confirmed to have been damaged in transit, we will arrange a suitable resolution, such as a replacement, reprint or refund.

International shipping

Where international shipping is available, delivery times may vary depending on the destination country and local postal service.

International orders may also be subject to customs checks, import duties, taxes or additional fees. These charges are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

The Carpenator Lab is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or local import procedures.

Customs, duties and taxes

For orders shipped outside the UK, your country may charge import duties, taxes or handling fees.

These charges are not controlled by The Carpenator Lab and may vary depending on your location.

Please check your local import rules before placing an international order.

Packaging

Our print products are carefully packaged to help protect them during delivery.

Depending on the product ordered, packaging may include:

  • protective envelopes
  • cardboard mailers
  • postal tubes
  • reinforced cardboard packaging
  • protective wrap or inserts

Packaging may vary depending on the item size and destination.

Pre-orders and special releases

If you order a pre-order item, limited release or special product, the estimated dispatch time may be different from our standard production timeframe.

Any special dispatch information will be shown on the product page where possible.

If your order contains both a pre-order item and a standard item, they may ship separately.

Order changes after purchase

Because our products are printed on demand, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made after your order has been placed.

This includes changes to:

  • product size
  • artwork choice
  • delivery address
  • shipping method
  • customer details

If you need to make a change, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to help if your order has not yet entered production.
